I Went to your Plainwell , Michigan, store.
I also really like the store but I just had to say your facilities are appreciated. They are cleaner and nicer than any local grocery store or home improvement stores. So THANK YOU HOME DEPOT, the real MVP.
When the gentleman whom works with the store came around the corner and asked may I help you, he immediately could see my frustration. I asked where are the bulbs for the lighting? he gave a short answer " in the Isle where they always been" turned and walked away,
Worst store in the county and I've been too a lot. Stores set up doesn't even make sense. Then they change what side of the strore you can check out on. Jenny B 21-10.25=$10.75 this is around 5th grade math and drop your attitude you have more help than the check out side of the store. If you feel underpaid get a real job. Never been so disappointed in a sore I will make the drive to Kalamazoo. This place is a must avoid.
I have shopped at Home Depot for years . I have spent a lot of money at home depot, but no more. We bought a mailbox for almost $100.00 and asked for our military discount. The clerk had already finished the sale so she said she would have to make a return and do it over. We said ok and she gave us a store card for the returning of crediting our charge card that we had used. I told her I wanted my charge card to be credited and to recharge it. She said it had to be a store card she could not and would not take it off my charge. Now if I want to return it for any reason I have to take a store card. We never left the counter with the merchandise or the receipt! I think this was so unfair!! Beware of this practice as you might get stuck with something you don't want! I Hate having to carry another card!!!
Spent 10 minutes looking for lights for my daughters home and ours. Found the lights but not the bulbs for the lighting.
Just some history, I helped open store #4 and have been a loyal customer for over 30 years. We had so much pride back then to be part of such an exciting endeavor. I still feel blessed to have been part of an exceptional success of Home Depot
I just wanted to say to this store: you guys have one of the nicest and cleanest public bathrooms I've been in, in a very very long time.
